Sports Complex Project
On May 11, 2017, and December 7, 2017, the Hacienda La Puente Unified School Board considered and approved Phase I of the Workman High School Sports Complex project that included the track and field and tennis courts.

On December 16, 2021, Board considered and directed to proceed with the design of Phase II of the Sports Complex. Phase II was envisioned to include a football stadium and relocation of the baseball fields and two tennis courts. The Board allocated $16 Million from the District General Fund Reserves to support the Phase II project.

The District recently received the necessary permissions from the Division of State Architect (DSA) to proceed with Phase II construction of the Sports Complex. The District is conducting a survey from the stakeholders prior to approving the construction phase.
